Don you finest attire to join in celebration of this fantastical exposition with the “Grunge Grass” music of alt-country band Tornado Bait, and the melting pot of folk, punk, klezmer, humppa, rembetika, and so much that is Mosquito Cabaret. Be mesmerized by the exotic steampunk dance performance by Wicked Hips (USA), and delight in more mirth and merriment. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Hampton History Museum.
The Great World Suitcase Challenge
“The Great World Suitcase Challenge” is a Steampunk makers challenge featuring, you guessed it, a suitcase! The idea was created by the ever brilliant Steampunk makers Aela Badiana and Andy Frasier and facilitated in the US and Europe by members of Hatton Cross Steampunk. Our judges are Dave Lee, Aela Badiana, Andy Fraser and Michael Parodi of HCS. For more information and rules, visit: http://tinyurl.com/y4g8j5m7

Also Michael Parodi will be providing a panel in steampunk 101, there’ll be the thrills, chills and spills of Splendid Teapot Racing Hampton Roads, Virginia, and so much more!!!
