It’s possible you could simplify Tornado Bait as Americana, punk or country depending on which night of the week you see them. They’re a storm brewing of influences, call it “Grunge Grass” if you will. A female fronted band with a lineup that can’t be tamed. Influences that vary from Slade, Joplin, Johnny, Jones, Elvis and some miss guided softer side of an Alice Cooper, mixed with Kurt and Country. Playing all originals or playing covers from Elizabeth Cotton, Elvis, The Kinks and who knows what else to expect. With a look as indescribable as the sound you might find Msesippi solo, as a duo, a full band or with special guest and friends. Tornado Bait is ready to reign down acoustic thunder or full electric lightning no matter what the occasion
